Friday 27th July: some of the ladies from Vista Support attended the Caribbean Night at Chepstow Races to raise money for cancer charity – Tenovus.
With a real party atmosphere, accompanied by glorious sunshine, everyone was in good spirits at the annual Caribbean Night.
Would-be surfers could test their balance and agility on a mechanical surfboard; West
Indian steel drums were being played in the background; while others relaxed at the outdoor Caribbean Bar.
After the last race is run, everyone made their way to the stage where they danced to a Lady Gaga tribute act continues in the open air with a barbecue.
The first race was at 6.20pm and the last race was at 8.55pm. Each of the girls vowed to try their luck with one race and donate their winning to Tenovus, but disappointingly, as first-timers, not one of them won a dime!
Proving to be more than just pretty faces (possibly?) the 3 ladies managed to raise £579.69 for Tenovus, not bad for 3-4 hours work.
